Carrier HVAC systems

Cooling & air handling.

Carrier is the core of FAAT's HVAC offering. We coordinate equipment selection with the building's requirements and the wider mechanical system, from cooling generation to air distribution.

Chiller selection

Chilled-Water Systems

Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, fan-coil units and air-handling equipment form the core of our chilled-water offering. Associated plant components are selected and identified separately within the project scope.

Central plants · Centrifugal

AquaEdge® — 19XR / 19DV

The 19XR and 19DV are water-cooled centrifugal chillers. Compressor technology varies across the wider AquaEdge family.

  • Centrifugal platforms including the 19XR and 19DV families
  • Hotels, hospitals, and large facilities
  • Plant-level coordination of chillers, pumps, and controls
Carrier 19DV information

Pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, valves and other ancillary items are identified by their actual selected manufacturer. They are not automatically described as Carrier products.

VRF & DX Systems

Carrier VRF and DX solutions remain central to our air-conditioning offering. The proposed range, configuration and supply availability are confirmed during technical selection.

The following selection points apply to VRF systems. Other DX equipment is selected separately.

  • Outdoor units selected around connected load and diversity
  • Indoor formats coordinated with ceilings and room layouts
  • Individual and centralized control options
  • Heat-pump or heat-recovery configurations, where available

Beyond nominal capacity.

Actual site conditions

Consider outdoor temperatures, available power, installation space, acoustics, and service access alongside the calculated load.

Part-load operation

Assess how the building operates through the day and across the seasons when comparing compressor and control options.

System coordination

Match equipment with distribution, terminal units, controls, and commissioning requirements to achieve the intended operation.

Air treatment

Air Handling & Hygienic Applications

Carrier is our preferred starting point for standard and hygienic air-handling selections. Each proposal defines the required filtration, access, materials, drainage and environmental-control provisions, with supporting evidence checked against the project specification.

Carrier Airovision 39HQ air-handling unit
Carrier Airovision 39HQ air-handling unit

Air-handling units

Carrier air handlers, including Airovision 39HQ, provide modular configurations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and specified air-treatment requirements.

Carrier air handlers

Fan coil units

Terminal equipment selected around room loads, available ceiling space, airflow, sound requirements, and the chosen control strategy.

Packaged & rooftop units

Packaged HVAC configurations for projects where a self-contained system aligns with the building layout and operating requirements.

Product ranges, configurations, availability and support arrangements are confirmed for each project. Final selections are set out in the project proposal.

Hygienic suitability and certification are checked for the selected configuration; a product-family name alone does not establish compliance for a hospital or cleanroom.

Heating & Controls

Where appropriate, the HVAC proposal can incorporate selected heat-pump solutions and coordinated building controls. Interfaces, control responsibilities and the commissioning scope are defined in the proposal.
